Nakon UFC220 i pobede Stipe Miocica nad Francisom Ngannouom, mnogi MMA fanovi su pozeleli da vide borbu izmedu Miocica i sampiona poluteske kategorije Daniela Cormiera.
Medutim izgleda da Cormier nije toliko zainteresovan za ovu borbu i umesto njega bi zeleo da gleda Caina Velasqueza protiv Stipe Miocica. izjava Cormiera:
It’s he (Miocic) and Cain, and then everybody else. The biggest heavyweight fight we’ll ever have is when those two fight each other. I’ll never say he’s better than Cain Velasquez, but he’s good. He’s just as good. They’re even.
