WWE-zvezda Phil ”CM-Punk” Brooks je dobio priliku da se oproba u UFC, i to protiv Mickey Galla. CM Punk  je poražen u toj borbi polugom u prvoj rundi na UFC 203. Nakon borbe je predsednik UFC-a  Dana White izjavio da ne bi želeo da gleda CM Punka u UFC-u opet. 

Međutim on uporno želi da se vrati u oktagon! CmPunk je izjavio za “FOX- Sports”:

“I am working on it feverishly. I’m throwing names at Dana (White), opponents, dates. I don’t know if he’s waiting for a Chicago show or what the deal is but if it doesn’t happen in the UFC, it will happen somewhere else.”
