Alexandar Gustafsson je ovog vikenda pobedio Glovera Teixeiru pred domaćom publikom u glavnom gradu Švedske, Stockholmu tehničkim nokautom u petoj rundi i tako sebe još više zbližio mestu sledećeg izazivača poluteške kategorije UFC-a.
Nakon priredbe na konferenciji za štampu je Gustafsson izjavio da smatra da je Jon Jones jedan od najboljih boraca ikada ali da ga ne ceni kao čoveka i da ga ne voli. Pročitajte izjavu Gustafssona:
“I don’t like him. I give him that he’s the best fighter of all-time, the best pound-for-pound fighter of our division; of course, everybody knows that,” sade Gustafsson. “He hasn’t even lost a fight yet, he demolishes everyone he fights.”
“But as a person, as a champion … he’s not a champion, in my eyes. He’s not a good person, in my eyes,” fortsatte han.
“That’s why, I always tell the guys, ‘I hope that ‘DC’ wins, because I like the guy, he’s a worthy champion”
